I’ve got 5 of them, for over a year, in a 40 gallon planted cube tank, along with some neon tetras and small fan tail guppies. Things are going well. I love watching them swim from one plant to another.

All and I repeat - *_All_* of my Amano's have exfiltrated themselves from their tanks and have been subsequently eaten by my cats. No reason other than they probably thought the algae was greener on the other side.

While I cannot say that I am surprised. I am, however, grateful that the cats got to eat some fresh food rather than the shrimps drying out and dying on their own.

Circle of life I suppose...
