You don't need to put Teflon tape on the threads of the hose adapter there is a seal built in to it. Also you need to use a fuel filter.

Thanks big time for what you did at the end of your video. Over a year ago I bought one of these on Amazon but when it arrived there was a huge dent in the packaging which means it either got crushed or dropped off a big height because there was styrofoam inside that was also crushed. I contacted Amazon and they told me to keep it for free instead of returning it because I told them it was now a safety hazard. Since then I've been afraid to use it. But after seeing your test that solved my problem.

I have a heater buddy, have had one for many years I've set my home up so a propane hose can be fitted into the house from a tank out side, so incase of an emergency the house can be warm with no electricity.. I had to use it one time for three days when the furnace quit working and had to replace it when it was getting down to ten below zero.. every house should have one ..

I bought the flex heater and it had a funny smell when operating that I didn't get from a plain buddy heater.

You should always open a propane tank all the way. There is a seal that only engages when it’s fully open.

I saw another review on YouTube and he said you had to use a fuel filter on the hose too. Any idea why? I don’t use a fuel filter on my small propane grill with a 20 pound tank and it works fine.

The flex heater, doesn't work at high elevation.ive got the big buddy, and that works at high elevation.
