I took one of the cats and the muffler off my WRX (non-STi) and it sounds rad. Loud and gutsy but not so loud the cops will give a care. Having a turbo inline will always keep it sorta quiet compared to a naturally aspirated car with a straight pipe, which is kinda nice unless you're a fan of hearing damage.

Blue STi sounds pretty nice. But it also kinda sounds like a dirt bike. Not hating tho, amazing car, looks clean af. Those rims look perfect on it.

Supercar Saturday in Bolingbrook IL. Red is a WRX with a red grill badge. Blue was built at P&L and has their quad tip exhaust, catless DP, built motor, etc. Not my car but I met the guys while I was at the car show.

I like that for you, the only thing that counts when it comes to money is power! Try driving a mustang offroad or in winter, try fitting all you're luggage in the boot, try to beat an sti around a track, try driving long trips without paying insane amounts of gas! The only good thing about stangs is power the rest is all crap

In my opinion the hatchback WRX looks so much better than the sedan version.

$35, 000 for an STi with options maxing out at around $38, 000. You can't get AWD with a diff that can be changed into different modes, all while stopping a tick under 105ft and going 0-60 in under 5 seconds. And the storage space (friend has a WRX)... And that signature sound... and the handling with the boxer setup... To me, $35, 000 is spot on. Everyone has a Mustang, and Camaros; let's not even go there.
