As someone who's iPad experience goes back to the original iPad, I really appreciate how far the OS has come. It's been a love hate relationship. Every new OS version has given more things to love and less to hate. This version is no exception. Looking forward to the improved multitasking. Now if they would improve the ability to link Notes to calendar and Reminders and fix the horrible Messages app.

I have a really old iPad Air 2 that runs iOS 12 lmao it's definitely time for an upgrade for me! I'm wanting one of the newer iPads for my birthday this month, maybe one of the smaller and cheaper models but one that would still feel like a solid upgrade from my current iPad Air 2 model. It's awesome that lockscreen wallpaper switching is coming to iPad with iPadOS 17 finally, it's been one of my favorite iOS 16 features and I've lost count of how many wallpapers I've made that I can switch between haha, and knowing myself right, I'll make plenty new ones on a potential new iPad if I get one for my birthday. Awesome video, great stuff there to be excited for! :)

My iPad Mini 6 Volume Up/Down doesn’t work when orientation changed after updating to iPadOS 17. Right button only works as Volume Up and Left Button Volume Down where it used to be based on the orientation you have. Done reinstalling, restarting is still not working.Grrr….!!!

Eye candy. What about real functionality. The Stage Manager updates are welcome. What about the really annoying feature of opening the last app you used when you close the previous app. Really, really annoying.

I don't want my iPad OS to be more like my fickle operating iPhone :(. It's because more iPhone buyers and Cook thinks the dumba44es will come to iPad because of numbers !!!!
