I was playing drums in my head along to your grooves. That's a type of thinking that I as a rhythm guitarist try to cultivate, that connection to rhythm. One thing that has really helped me enjoy playing in my older age especially, is to really ease up my whole body. A light touch helps and Greg, you got that which is why this simple groove works because in reality guitar is a percussion instrument.
