The simplest way to identify whether to use 'a' or 'an' is to identify the initial sound of the word using the हिन्दी वर्णमाला... If the sound is a स्वर वर्ण (अ आ इ ई ए ऐ etc), then use an, otherwise use a...and that's why hindi is a much more better language than english because it has a unique letter in its वर्णमाला for each specific sound
