Dewalt 1/2' Impact Driver 18v Review DC820

Whats up guys?!

Quick tool review of a dewalt cordless impact driver. Mine is 1/2", but I would probably suggest getting 3/8" driver version. The power is not up to 1/2" drive levels, however it is nice to just throw an a 1/2" to 3/8" adapter and then have the ability to still use 1/2" drive sockets.

Cons:
Loud

Not Powerful Enough for 80lbs torqued lug nuts. It will take some lug nuts off, but you will burn through your battery fast and you will go deaf. I have used it to get off lug nuts when I have jacked the car up and forgot to break the lug nuts loose first. However, I would not recommend doing this often or relying on it.

Pros:
Super useful to have in tool box, I use it daily.

Powerful enough for most any 3/8" drive nuts and bolts

Battery lasts a long time

Cheap but high quality ($80)

Mine takes most lug nuts off. Hold it against the lug for a couple seconds and it will start turning slow and then 'zing' rips it right off.

You lose a lot of torque with the adapter.
