British would have beaten the Americans from ww2 era if they where full strength, yes America ranked higher but the British where severely weakened after bombing raids and having to fight the Axis all alone as France fell to them in a matter of weeks. So the fact that the British where able to hold out and somewhat push the axis out just with the soviets. The British also was ranked lower due to low stability and people starving. If the British where able to hold into 24%. Of the world I’m pretty sure they could beat the Americans. As the Royale navy would at least call for a draw. Even if it was current the British would have the largest standing army, the most population, the most territory, the most global influence, access to most natural resources and would dominate the global stage, and in the American revolution, the reason the British lost was because they where more focused on other colonies as the British forces where all at different places and continents. Also if the British had entirely focused on the Americans then the British would have stomped the Americans. Also the British would have won anyways if the French and Spanish didn’t join the war. So I don’t really get why the British lose to the Americans.
