MY ENDGAME GAMING KEYBOARD (NOT Wooting 80he)

preview_player
Показать описание
Discussing my new main hall effect keyboard after using the wooting 80he since launch and recently modding it out. I personally feel that the HM80 is more sensitive/responsive even on the same actuation/rapid trigger as the 80he. Wooting software/warranty is better and it's not worth switching off if you have one, but they "need" to lower deadzones imo. 100% of my in game testing was done in fortnite
There is chinese data that backs me up but just because it's in print doesn't mean it's the gospel

The problem is that it IS A HARDWARE ISSUE. Lekker switches aren't precise/accurate enough to handle no deadzone and 0.01mm actuation points. If you try to force them to it will result in pressed keys outputting unstable input. Frankly it's ridiculous that a $200 keyboard doesn't come with gatereon jade maxes or ttc KOM(actual high end switches that can achieve 0.01mm precision and accuracy).

Throughout the video I was on the fence whether you're trolling us or not

Forgot a key point: This board and its 60% variant also has the option of split spacebar. To my knowledge these are the only hall effect boards that has the split spacebar option

Good part about wooting is that it has ISO layouts. I use ISO-DE myself and not a lot of companies support that.

I love the idea of gaming with hall effect, I just won't pay 280 canadian for a keyboard that sounds and feels worse than my current custom. I will wait for more companies to catch up to companies like wooting and sikakey.

Boardzy going for whos writing the bigger check again. Wooting needs to do something - write Boardzy a check...pay him

I did the glass pad experiment at the same time as you (skypad 3.0) and I have never loved my Hien more than now I'm back on it.

Competition is good. There are other small gripes I have with the 60HE like the spacebar and the way Lekkers feel in general. Otherwise it has been one of the most solid boards I've owned vs. my apex pro which randomly crashes and turned into a rattly mess over time as all the LEDs also slowly failed.

0.01 actuation is completely negligible/meaningless for a vast majority of situations

The TKL format is a must for me. I need the home and end key for programming. Not sure why they’ve opted to out the prtscrn and pause key instead. I never use those. Remapping is viable.
I’d also pay wooting for the updates and software. Not sure who else makes a good mechanical with good software.
