Report: Sandberg asked Facebook employees to research Soros

Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg reportedly asked staffers to do research on George Soros' financial interests after he criticized the social media giant; Jacqui Heinrich reports from New York.

Anytime I hear the words Doctors without borders, open society, ects.. Soro always pop in my mind.

This issue was spun hard. Soros was told to be spewing anti-facebook views, so naturally a company would research it and find out what is going on given Soro's likes to put money where his thoughts go.

Sheryl is doing a fantastic job given the circumstances not of her making, and I think a bit of understanding about the tricky balancing act she's successfully achieving, goes a long way in helping her keeping Facebook (for the many) separate from the political witch hunt.
