Morris knows nothing about the West ! McGovern will retire a one club player as he is already financially set up with his plumbing business and Ryan is a country boy at heart, but more importantly wouldn't want to leave his family.

The Saints have withdrawn from seriously looking into the recruitment of TT for the same reasons as Essendon previously did. They both have the morals of an alley cat. They should have learned from the public response to Essendon's overtures, but thought they'd have a go anyway. TT is finished because of societal expectations. Every club has a female team and female members. TT has done far worse than the text messages that have landed him into trouble, it just hasn't come out in the media. He shouldn't be touched with a barge pole.

If Houston is so desperate to get back to Melbourne for personal reasons why does he have to go to the Dees? 4 years remaining on a contract surely if Port agree to getting rid of him they should be able to pick which Melbourne club so they can get the best deal? It's insane how much power players have compared to other leagues despite being contracted.

Thankgod for Hodgey actually mentioning their injury list as a factor to Richmond’s current position. Ridiculous how people ignore this fact.

Why would anyone want to go to Melbourne? They get 16k to their home games at the G, its like playing in COVID times.

Also, I dont want Lukousis, hes a spud, we already have Todd Marshall, same player

I hope Dan decides to stay on at Port, especially if we do well in finals.

Dan Houston has stated clearly twice in the last 3 weeks that he is happy, loves Port and is not going anywhere. Port have said he’s happy and contracted for another 4 years, so I very much doubt that unless Port were offered something simply unbelievable ….. this rumour is just that … a fairytale possibly via his management to see whether Port might upgrade his bottom line.

My mum buys my dad and I membership every year, dont think she'd like Port hiring Thomas

If Richmond get half a dozen first-rounders, I think we can all agree they should go after multiple Richard Lounder/Anthony Bannik types. Maybe a Wayne Hernaman clone too.

I'm an Eagles member and I've been looking at our list very closely over the last 5 years. I keep saying we need to turn the list over as there are too many old veterans. We failed to do the Gaff deal to North Melbourne. There are plenty of others we could have got picks for. Barrass said on record in 2019 that the club was experiencing a premiership hangover. The club were deluded thinking they could win another one but the truth is they weren't hungry. I knew it, the club didn't and that is why Simpson got sacked. They were too late in changing the game style, too late in rebuilding. Now we have too many players that are from a different game style as well as too many veterans. Yes every club needs a few but not 10. Cut the cord. Barrass has a bad back and wants more money, do the deal. Ryan wants 3 years, do the deal. Darling is no longer needed, do the deal. We are we so passive? It's ridiculous how blind we are.

West Coast needed to pull the chain on their list 2-3 years ago, including the coach & they're now doing it.

Ben cousins have been welcomed back with open arms and is actually been convicted of DV. Let’s be fair they don’t care about the crime it’s just perception and the perception is Thomas is trash.

What grounds would the afl have to not allow a club to sign tarryn if he is found not guilty of his charges ?

I know people very close to Dan and what I’m hearing is he’s not as interested as people make it out to be.

Rioli is worth is worth 2 first round picks, but Dan Houston - rarely injured All Australian, and best kick in the comp just worth 1? Hilarious....no hint of state bias there. Kingy got it right....nothing reimburses his loss, if indeed the rumour holds any need 2 top 10 picks with 1 being a top 5, and a next round pick.

If the person plays footy at AFL level on the field, is there not a pathway in the game and a precedent that has been set already for a player to pay for his crimes and rehabilitate himself off the field. A conviction of violence in the courts from off-field incidents should not prevent a person from being able to work back in his trade or profession after justice has been seen to be done. Pickett at Richmond and Krakouer at Collingwood comes to mind. We celebrated these guys on footballs biggest stage in Grand Finals. Maybe St Kilda pending court outcomes were investigating a possible pathway of redemption to a person who happens to be an AFL player.

They should have an expansion draft for Tasmania and then the national draft wouldn't need to be touched.

Hawks are cashed up will chase good possible players who will fill important spots for 2025 season so they will be busy in the trade

Only person Ben Abused was himself, and the AFL put him through the ringer. He 11:12 never abused his partner or anyone else, so the comparison is totally wrong.
