In my opinion, what made zombies so great back in the day was discovering secrets. Not completing objectives already known.

The story was so much more interesting back when it was just Easter eggs/ references you had to find yourself.
These days they just shovel shitty lore down your throat till you choke on it.

Why don't you guys do a whole zombies game where it has zombie chronicles 1&2. Some new maps and some old remasters of some maps like der eisendrache etc...

Treyarch just needs to make a full on zombies game and everyone will be happy. They need to stop being subjugated to side modes and dive head first into a full on dedicated game.

No innovation was needed, World at War absolutely nailed the gritty and darkness which is now gone....

Idk if devs think we want some brand new mechanics in the game, or new ways to play zombies. Nah, we want what we fell in love with. Bo1, bo2 and bo3 were the best games because they were simple easy to play, BUT Easter eggs gave them a “hardcore” aspect to the game. Perk machines, pack a punch, and the storyline. That’s what we love about zombies. And it seems like each New COD they go further and further away
