It's a guava. In thai call "Farang" like thai people call foreigner as Farang. But this guava is not fresh guava. It's a Plum Pickled Guava. It is a guava that is pickled in plum juice + sugar.😁😁🙏🙏

That's guava also called "bayabas" in the Philippines. It has different varieties. Eaten as a fruit, and also as a main ingredient or seasoning for Sinigang. 😊

This fruit is gauva and its common in India too.I thought foreigners are friendly with it 😢 that why they called it as guava .In india We call it as 'peru' or 'amrud'

It's a guava. In the Thai language it is known as farang. In Bengali we call it Peyara😊

And it's an Asian fruit
in sri lanka we called it pera, perakkai and koiyapazham🤤❤️🇱🇰
If you add some salt and chilli powder or salt and pepper
It taste so good

Guava..pickled with sugar for a limited time.. that's why it has soft texture..add some plum powder to it to kick a little bit..also try baby pineapples..same method use..Thai people very good at varieting plenty of pickles 👍👍
