Qatar Airways Boeing 747-8 Cockpit Landing at Paris CDG

Last week Qatar Airways retired the Boeing 747-8 from its cargo fleet. Just Planes was lucky enough to film one of its Jumbos on a flight from Doha to Paris CDG. On this video you can see the landing.

Three weeks after my 24th birthday in 2014 I became a 1st officer of a B747-400 freighter. Clocked 1300hrs on that particular plane before she went into retirement. Then clocked 370 hours on a B757-200 freighter. Worked with couple of captains from all over the world, both male and female. Some were former airforce and major airline captains. 32 countries and 68 airpports. I stopped flying after a car acciden. Oh god I miss the view from the 747-400 cockpit. Safe flight everyon

If that dash 8 was carrying grandma, she wouldn't have spilled a drop of her champagne upon landing. A fitting landing for a *beautiful and gigantic* aircraft!

Having looked at many JustPlanes videos, I realize that Paris CDG is an international airport where the local language is used a lot for ATC communication, which is rather surprising. For safety, wouldn’t it be better to use only one language for local and international flights ?
