Let's break down the time Carson spends on each activity and then subtract the total from 168 hours.Sleep:
7.5 hours/day × 7 days = 52.5 hoursSchool:
6.75 hours/day × 5 days = 33.75 hoursMartial Arts:
1.5 hours/session × 3 sessions = 4.5 hoursBasketball:
1.5 hours/session × 3 sessions = 4.5 hoursTotal time for martial arts and basketball:
4.5 hours + 4.5 hours = 9 hoursReading and studying:
1.75 hours/day × 7 days = 12.25 hoursEating:
1.5 hours/day × 7 days = 10.5 hours,

[ 52.5 \text{ (sleep)} + 33.75 \text{ (school)} + 9 \text{ (martial arts and basketball)} + 12.25 \text{ (reading and studying)} + 10.5 \text{ (eating)} = 118 \text{ hours} ]

[ 168 - 118 = 50 \text{ hours} ]

Carson has approximately 50 hours remaining in the week.
