Description: Initially, Vsinger was announced to perform at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai on July 12, 2020. Suggestions for songs were made open on July 25, 2019. Plans changed later and it was instead announced that the performance was moved to August 21. Reservations for Youku VIP members were made open on July 31. Location: Yokohama Arena. A brand new model and 31 songs were confirmed.

This is seriously the coolest vocaloid concert I’ve ever seen. The music? The outfits? The concept? The visuals? UGH IT WAS ALL SO GOOD!! Not to mention how inclusive it was oml

I wanna say this this show is on a whole other level compared to the JPN Vocaloid live shows, the quality of the performance and the sound, the character models are incredible and they actually speak full proper, the only thing this is missing is the atmosphere you'd get at a Miku Expo or Migical Mirai show, but I wonder why those shows can't be like this for level of quality, that would be completely something else in terms of how amazing the show experience could be.

Although I'm sad we don't get to see a cheering audience and sea of glow sticks, I really love how they amped up the invovlement and size of the AR sets. Yan He's subway set in particular was really impressive~

Guys stop comparing this to Magical Mirai.
Magical Mirai is displayed with holograms, but these vsingers aren't so
you really shouldn't really be able to compare the differences between them.
Like of course non-live material would look better and of course they'll be able to do more things.
BUT HOLOGRAMS HAVE A LIMIT TO WHAT THEY CAN DO

So basically, In Magical Mirai, all the vocaloids are displayed visibly to the raw eyes so the musicians are basically playing along with a singer who is actually standing there.
For this, the vsingers are added in with edits to where the musicians are performing live so they cannot have such high quality irl lives. This is material that only works 'online'

I'm not here to say which is better btw. I personally enjoy both.
The Vsinger's live is really fit for this era and it's very creative and pretty.
Magical Mirai on the other hand is a completely new experience you could ever have and I really would love to go to one someday.

Also considering the fact that Magical Mirai was planned earlier before corona, because of it, the live had to be canceled so instead of getting rid of it all, they chose to show us what they were planning to show us at the actual live. Meaning, they really didn't have time to reprepare a completely new program like the vsingers.

Both are great in there own way, and you can't really compare them since the methods being used in both are completely different things.
Hope you guys understand and stop bashing each other without knowing any of the context! *wink wink*

I’m so glad they’re finally getting noticed!! They have an awesome and active fandom on bilibili where there are so artists creating many new and diverse songs all the time! Some of the best music I’ve listened to is vsinger music. Anyways I love them so much and I hope if you liked this concert that you’ll look into more of their content

Can we have a pinned comment on top that explain this is AR not live holograms... I'm very very glad people are finally starting to notice Chinese vocaloids but I don't want them to feel scammed when they find out this isn't what they expected it to be

i might be wrong, but i think this is AG (Augmented reality tech), this concert just works perfect for the technology because is online and everyone is on quarintine.

IA has already experimented with this too years ago, it was great.

This was an overall 100/10
The set list was fantastic ! I didn’t even know half of the songs but it was SO enjoyable. The effects were so good and made for really nice eye candy, especially because some of these had the effect of a music video, not to mention the modules actually felt like a diverse concert! They changed so often it made for a really refreshing show. Not to mention the fact that this concert wasn’t just how crypton concerts are 90% miku with like one Kaito and meiko song. This actually felt like they were trying to show off all their idols and i loved it. Crypton really should take notes, not trying to be shady, love them to death and they have some of my favorite vocaloids but come on
