Che interpretazioni meravigliose! Plinio Clabassi è un grande cantante poco valorizzato rispetto ai suoi pregi. All'epoca cantavano Ghiaurov, Siepi, Christoff, Neri, Rossi Lemeni...non era facile emergere. Oggi sarebbe il numero 1 IMHO

A beautifully produced basso cantabile voice. No growls, no shouting just beautiful singing (bel canto). I'm surprised he was not more famous - especially since his father-in-law could have introduced him into the best musical circles; or was being the son-n-law of Benamino Gigli a handicap?
