It's a crime if Andrew never does a musical again. He was incredible.

This scene nails everything this movie is trying to do so perfectly. Putting this comedic workshop number against the emotionally tense scene that inspired it clashes shockingly well. Hearing them seriously fight with each other while this "country ho down" sounding number is vamping honestly makes the scene hit harder. The whole movie really does such a good job making comedic scenes have emotionally dramatic undertones.

Ah… The “we both reached for the gun” choreo vibe… the wide-open-never-blinking eyes…fake smile...puppet-like movement…. just chef’s kiss.

It sends chills down my spine when she says “You're thinking about how you can turn this into a song” because I can relate as a screenwriter trying to milk every single moment of my life to write a few shitty scenes

its so nice to see vanessa on something actually good and rich, i feel like she had been doing a lot of cliche basic films that didnt quite show her great talent

Can we talk about Alexandra Shipp’s acting here? It beautifully contrasts Vanessa’s passive aggressive arguing with some aggressively painful emotion.

The part where Vanesa Hudgens puts her arms in the air and practically yodeling the word is the BEST! Can’t stop watching that part!

Never thought I’d see a duet between Spider-Man and Gabriella from High School Musical, let alone have it be my favorite song in this entire movie

Andrew is such a great actor we should talk about him more

Andrew Garfield is really one of the most underrated actors of all time

I love that eventhough Vanessa Hudgens didn't do much talking scenes in the movie, she's mostly in the movie for a background singer and I'm totally fine with it

If there was an Oscar for best scene, this would win. Acting and singing were great. Directing, choreography, and editing were top notch.

I loved the little flash of light after he stops tapping his fingers. I don’t think he necessarily was like “hey, let me turn THIS fight into a song” maybe it was a fight in general or just a beat finally popping into his head but it was the wrong time for inspiration to strike.

that light that symbolizes her realizing what he was doing was such a genius move. Whoever put that in there deserves extra credit👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Honestly I don’t like musicals but this movie was amazing. Andrew Garfield killed it and really surprised me. He has incredible range and I no longer think of just Spider-Man when I see him. Well done.

Andrew and his “not tonight….” Procrastinators painfully relate TOO well

This scene is funny and sad in the same time and it makes this one is absolutle incredible. And Vanessa with Andrew made such a great job.

3:36 is the best part of the song vocally and you can’t change my mind, for both of the singers this isn’t hard but it just sound so perfect the two singing different words at different notes but still sounding together, it’s amazing and so is the movie

3:35 Is evidence Andrew Garfield deserves more musical jobs. This film was absolutely spectacular. That high note 🥺

The tapping on the shoulder and Susan's tears and face juxtaposed with Vanessa's fake, hollow smile is brilliant
