Just when you thought the Turbo-can was the last word in spray paint innovation, Rust-Oleum one ups itself with an adjustable spray nozzle that lets you shoot just the right volume of paint into just the right position by clicking a dial built into the cap.

I expect the graffiti around here to improve dramatically.

My first car was a 1973 Toyota Celica ST. Paid $1 for it. Running great with a terribly worn paint job. I bought 13 cans of Rust-Oleum black enamel, 6 cans of Rust-Oleum clear, 2 rolls of masking tape and a sleeve of assorted sandpaper. In 1985 total cost was around $35. I worked for 3 days sanding it and one day spraying 2 coats of black. then waited 2 days, wet sanded and as many clear coats as I could spray on with what I had, which was around 3 coats. I remember running out before I 100% finished the 3rd coat.
Anyways, the shade that people threw at it came as a compliment because several people said something like "That dosent look bad for a Maco job."
😏 And it did look amazing for a rattle can job. But for people to assume by looking that it was a Maco spray job, I took that as a compliment.
That's one of my cars that I thought was a sh*t box that I deeply wish I had today.
1973 Celicas are today as rare as hens teeth.
Anyways... There's my relatable story for the video.

You're 100% right. Most changes to products today are focused on higher profit for the company. Good job on recognizing someone different.

I've had excellent luck with that rust-oleum paint, , Finally an American company that has their shit together

Rust-oleum bought Testors, so that's good enough for me.
Like many of us, I was a kid in the 80s building models with my dad. Now I'm a 45-year-old building models with my son.
Just cool to see that old label on the glue and paints.

Uncle Tony gets as excited about the tiny stuff as the big stuff. True happiness. Gets as excited telling us about the new stuff, as finding it himself.5 seconds into finding the new stuff, he rips it up to find new new stuff. True happiness. Thanks Uncle Tony.

A lot of channels claim that they cover a wide assortment of topics but with UTG you really never know what you're gonna get. One episode is the burn characteristics of nitromethane fuel and the next is the cap on a can of spray paint. Keep going with your gut for topics and I'll keep watching 👍

Hey Tony,
Tim here, i'm a Duplicolor guy, have had GREAT results with their cans, but i TOTALLY DIG this 5 pos nozzle!!....Duplicolor give 2 choices of vertical or horizontal on every can (which i like), but i REALLY like the other 3 choices here, heavy/std/or cud use that often when paintin various engine/car i need the vertical, but more volume, i cud just twist the know its more traditional, and wud be able to adjust my spray as needed....SUPER COOL innovation, HATS OFF TO cool!!

I painted the roof of my 1965 galaxy with it. Wet sanded and polished it, waxed it and two years later parked outdoors and it still looks beautiful, you can see your reflection in it. People will tell you you have to use automotive paint and that rustoleum won’t work. It works for me.

Next week a drop shipment will come with a pallet of cans from "rustoilum" with no return address lol.
They should do that just cause your a Nice guy and it's always in the background. No reason to not send you a few cases of paint. Your already hooked on it. So why not?

A true gear head like me trying to get other uses out of one product! I love it!

I've been using Rust-Oleum since the mid 1960s. It definately is the best quality spray can paint. The turbo works so much better than the old style cans for large areas. No tiger stripes with the big fan pattern form the turbo cans. I painted a truck bed tool box gloss black and it is beautiful.

I've had nice results with this particular paint. But I wish Rust-Oleum would offer more color choices for it's Turbo paint line. That paint is great !

I wish I could get as excited about anything, as Tony gets about a spray nozzle on a paint can.

Hey Tony just a heads up you can take those Lids off and put them on your regular Rust-Oleum this way you can use the new fans on your old cans. Also when you're done if you got a container you can soak that lid in acetone for an hour or so it breaks up everything I started throwing the cans out and keeping the tops
