I started watching jags games in 04, so i relate. Fred Taylor, Donovan Darius, Rashean Mathis, Mike Peterson, John Henderson are the core guys i remember from those days.

Long awaited for Tony. Also shout out to Leroy Butler a Jacksonville native getting selected too. So Jacksonville had 2 HOFers selected last night

The years that Boselli was on the team, most notably 96-99, was really the best time to be a Jags fan even though that was a small window. We went to the playoffs every year and played in the AFC Championship twice. And on a side note, we forced Dan Marino into retirement. That playoff game against the Dolphins in 99 is still one of favorite games.

Fred is the only player on the top 20 rushing yards list that isn't in the Hall of Fame. He should be in for sure. Even Ray Lewis said he was one of the best backs he ever played against.

Tony deserves this. He was an incredible player. Jimmy and Fred deserve it also as they were as good as it got. I think the only thing that could screw Jimmy is his off the field issues. He deserves the HOF though. Nobody was better than Jimmy in his prime.

That 99 team was by far the best of any Jags team so far! Boselli, Taylor, Smith, McCardell, Searcy, Hardy, Brackens… what a great span for the Jags. Wow what a great accomplishment for Tony man!!!
