Fix this while your at gov I used SRP for forty years. didn't know what a power outage was until using sdg&e, just today they dropped power with 0(zero) warning or update expecting to be live at 12. Maybe it was real cold and the electric was frozen and moving very slow, I got my power back at 4:40

This will work about as well as rent control, or any other idiotic liberal machinations. Liberal playbook: Step one, create a problem by overregulation. When it creates a problem, blame anyone else. Step 2, create more regulations that make the problems worse, and if possible create new problems. repeat as necessary. We import most of our fuel, as it is too costly to build a refinery in this state due to terrible overregulation. Thus this proposed solution will do absolutely nothing but make the problem worse. They will offer the "solution" of electric cars, which will implode our electricity generation capacity, and they will blame others for the lack of electricity and make more regulations that will make the problems even worse. Uhaul ran out of trucks leaving California, that should tell you something.

How about a cap on how much California government can tax everything? How is it that other states don't need a commission to set gas prices? Are oil companies there just much less greedy than in California? Give me a break!
