I have no problems with how sukuna beat gojo but for them to say sukuna wasn’t even trying his best and could probably beat gojo without the 10 shadows is insulting

Sukuna was nervous for the first in a 1000 years against someone who wasnt strong enough to make him try very hard. He played risky apparently just cause he was bored and thought maho was cool.He lost basically ever physically exchange just for the sake of it. He let himself get KOed by that black flash cause he was starting to get sleepy, And he almost died to UV cause he simply didn’t care enough. Thats kind of the narrative we have now since apparently he was sort of bagging the whole time

Im not mad that Gojo died, I’m mad that he got off screened and that all his wins over Sukuna are meaningless since Sukuna “wasn’t even giving it his all”.

Gojo saying that he didn’t know if he could beat sukkuna even without the 10 shadows is clearly an attempt from gege to gaslight us since the entire battle revolved around mahoraga and its op powers. Really dissapointing in my opinion

There was alot wrong with this but my main issue with this is it just feels like no one else is even close to Sukunas level now....who could stop this reality slice?

I'm surprised and worried by Gege adding scenes like "Gojo doesn't care about protecting people", Gojo's lines like it's a pity that Sukuna didn't show everything, And his downplaying of his own abilities etc. He didn't even care about what would happen to his students now, that he didn't help Megumi. After all, he fought for them! Has Gege forgotten what they did or what kind of character they are? It's so out of character. This ending is a slap in the face to Gojo

The explanation of the reality cut is dumb. The main point of adaptation is that it makes Infinity a non-issue, via by negation, overpowering it, bypassing it, etc.

The reality cut, I would not count it as an adaptation, because it is simply a target change. It cuts the entire space, but if you think about it, that is something that can be done altogether without the adaptation. It is something that you have to think about and then try it out. In a sense, Sukuna did no copy anything from Mahoraga, he simply targeted the same "target".


This "space cutting" can be applied to just about anything. Kashimo can electrify the entire space around Gojo, Jogo can burn the same space, etc. For Sukuna, since his CT is simply cutting, that is what he did. If he wanted, he could use that fire jutsu he has and burn the entire "reality" around Gojo.

This was just dumb. Gege wanted to go for maximum shock value with this. Gojo was suppose to die, but not with some dumb asspull like this

My problem is that I don't understand what was the point of Gojo's unsealing??? Did he react to the character's death in any way? No. Did we see him reuniting and interacting with the characters and devising a plan to take out sukuna in case of his defeat? No. Did he cripple sukuna in any way so that the good guys can actually get a shot at killing sukuna? No. Instead, Sukuna is even more powerful now cuz he can just judgment cut anything standing in his way. Why even hype and build up Gojo's unsealing like that if it's not helping the plot in any way possible

I hate how this was written. I don’t favor Sakuna or Gojo it’s just sad to see such a great fight end in such a boring and poorly written way. It’s like gege just thought “yeah I’m fed up with writing this” and just ended it this way.

The only issue I have with Gojos loss is how the story is underplaying the amount effort, prep, and general luck Sukuna needed to pull of this win. Gege could have just Sukuna had good kit and left it at that

Gojo showed the way to beating Sukuna. You suffer less damage when targeted by one’s own cursed energy. Yuji is the only one who can beat Sukuna because he practically is Sukuna when it comes to cursed energy, letting him be more resilient than the others

Honestly I think Gege purposely did this to add a lot more of a mystery to Sukuna’s potential and how powerful he really is, especially if Gojo got offscreened and is glazing him in the afterlife.

I kinda hate it when series do this ridiculous power scaling thing, rendering 99% of the cast irrelevant and focusing all the narrative weight at the whim of 2-3 characters. This is why Naruto sucked at the end, same thing happens with Black Clover, MHA and so many other.

I just don’t understand how nobody sees the rest of the crew being able to fight Sukuna anytime soon as not an ass pull. How? That was the issue with both Sukuna and Gojos characters. They were too powerful and Gege didn’t progress the MC’s and new sorcerers enough for gojo to die. The whole time Gojo was sealed was the time for everyone to increase drastically in strength and tbh. Maki was the only one.

People needs to keep in mind that Sakuna's own CT is cleave and dismantle which is the one embedded in his Domain. Open/fire stuff he did to Jogo was just him showing off and the black box thing is probably his ability to copy stuff. Back to the fight, I guess Gege needs to better rephrase what Gojo said about him not knowing whether he could win against Sakuna even without 10S, because Sakuna clearly needed Maho to understand how to bypass Gojo's infinity. Although Sakuna is tanky but I don't think he would have stayed alive long enough to figure out how to bypass Gojo's infinity on his own!
