After waiting for 1 month and a half, Finally have the Degen 31ms Mediumwave Shortwave active loop antenna

I've had and used this antenna for several years.. works very good and can be rotated to help eliminate noise or boost signals... the tuning control is a little "touchy".. but I really like it & use it a lot.. thnx for the video

Use this antenna with my Sangean 909. Works really well. Great video too.

Whipped up a spare parts mag loop similar to this. It doesn't work on glass with tint. But, it does work on plain glass windows. This could explain the mixed reviews.

This antenna actually is working very well for me, in Washington, DC, where electrical interference is a real problem. We don't have the space for a large outdoor antenna (I live in a city row house about a mile and a quarter from the US Capitol). I had earlier tried the Sony AN LP1, connected to my Kaito KA-1103, and it did nothing for me. The reception was better with the Kaito's whip antenna. But the Degen makes a significant difference in reception indoors and out. Radio Exterior de Espana (9690 kHz), for example, was difficult to hear inside my house, through all the noise. When I plugged the radio into the Degen antenna, the signal came through loud and clear.
