Srinagar MP denounces J&K Budget in Parliament as 'Sovereign Betrayal' of people of Jammu & Kashmir

National Conference MP Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi criticised the Centre during a debate on the Union Budget in the Lok Sabha. He called the Budget for Jammu and Kashmir a "betrayal of sovereignty and a mockery of democracy." Mehdi urged the speaker to ensure that the Supreme Court's order for conducting elections in J&K by September 30 is followed, emphasising the urgent need for elections and expressing regret over the lack of local input in the budget formulation, stating that it undermined the state's ideals upon accession to the Union of India.

You and your leadership have screwed up Jammu & Kashmir due to which there is presidents ruke in J&K hiw difficult it is understand for you. He speaks like a saint, can he enlighten the ordinary Indian how a community was chased out from on their land and he and colleagues stood there without anything and those people are still living the life of refugees in their own country and what steps his party had taken to bring them back and give back their ancestral property. This is what you had done when u had power.

Article 370 was removed with majority in the parliament and he does not respect this parliamentary form democracy.

By repeated cribbing against article 370 what he trying to achieve or wat had he achieved in the 70 year when 370 was present. Talk of development which is not happening or any corruption case. Do not misguide the youth back to terrorism by sitting in your cozy villa alloted by the Indian parliament. Do something constructive to build Jammu and Kashmir rather than pricking on the old wound and keeping yourself in news.
