I've never thought about surrogate mothers as concubines but that hits the nail right on the head. The whole process is just heartbreaking and sickening.

When I heard him use the words "good dad" it immediately brought my mind to say "these kids will have no mother!"

My wife and I have 3 year old twins (boy and girl), how she responds/behaves towards our children is in various ways very different from how I do. I can't comfort them in the unique manner my wife does, I don't have mothering instincts and those certain ways of thinking in regards to our children because I'm not a mother, I could NEVER be a substitute mother and I would say NO man could be a good substitute. I'd like to say to our culture today, "Guess what? In regards to rearing children, men suck at being a woman (mother like)! And women suck at being men (father like).

All I could think at the end of this video was, " Those poor children, they will never know or have what only a mother can give!"

He said, "there could be other miscarriages..." That implies more than five persons involved and possibly more than that. The emotional toil and physical strain that these surrogates went through is tragic.

In all seriousness, I don't know how this doesn't cause utter despair in more people. I understand that we're supposed to address these problems as believers while NOT despairing, but man, how far we've come makes me utterly depressed. This video made me nauseous.

Dating shouldn’t be treated as a shopping experience. Same goes with creating children.

If this was really about the children, Dave and David would have at least fostered or adopted children that are already here and provide a home for those who don’t have one. But this is clearly mainly about Dave and David.

The conservatives I follow have not congratulated them. I like Dave Ruben but this was a great example of where our values are worlds apart.
