They survived the lightning strike, but the younger suffered 3rd degree burns, and both brothers suffered severe depression. One, I think, the younger who was injured so severely, went on to commit suicide because of the pain & severe depression. If I’m not mistaken, this was August 1975, and many lightning strikes were reported in this storm. Such a sad story behind this really cool picture. 😢
