By gawd, you just helped my lil friend up the road who shot her whole gallery show with the wrong W balance. 100 images. She's gonna die. Thanks so much Anthony.

Excellent, thank you! I wonder if you might do a video showing the same “sync settings” process for each of the other raw developing programs you teach, to show how they work, or even if they have that ability. Most do, but not all. Thanks!

I most often only use the "Sync Method" to set the white balance on a group of shots. I seldom like all settings on the rest. I will now try your new method now to see how it applies to me.

Question: If I use this method and select the Subject Masking Tool will it select the subject in all of the frames individually or just the mask applied to the previous mask position in the frame? Thank you...great video BTW!

A fourth way is using Sync in the Library module: once you've edited your first image go to the Grid view in Library and select multiple images that you want the same effects applied to.

Sync method worked great for when I need to apply lens correction/lens profile tp 300 to say 500 photos. Up till this point I was having to go individually to all the photos with copy & paste feature. Very lengthy method.

I really want to run them through Ps where I might run an action do do some Ps magic, and save in various formats.

Does this apply the edits to the raw files, or just store the edit in Lightroom? I use Photoshop, but I never use Lightroom. I hate using Lr. even for batch editing, but I can't find anything about batch editing in Ps. I think I'm going back to Capture One for portrait and people editing & use Ps for just what C1 doesn't do, after C1 editing.

There is no hot key shortcut for purple color. Does it mean I can not AutoSync this setting ? I believe there is a bug with toolbar implementation.

I would edit one picture and then do a right-click, select Develop Settings>Copy Settings, and then paste it to a range of images. I like the way you do it much better and it's faster....Thanks.

something ive noticed. when i have 'auto sync' selected and hit 'auto' for the image selected, the rest get 'auto' adjusted. but they really do not. because if you go to any other of those other images, even though some settings have been made, the 'auto' button is highlighted as if there are still 'auto' settings to be made. and if you hit 'auto', additional changes are made. so it really doesnt bulk auto. very strange.

I wish that once you remove the selection, the Auto Sync button would, reset. Instead, it stays on and the next time you select multiple photos auto sync is activated. So many times I end up editing a bunch of photos without intending to. Also, the selection highlight in the filmstrip is not very contrasts, I often have multiple photos selected without realizing it. I find that frustration. The techniques is good, but IMO it is important to try to remember to turn it off as soon as you finish the edit.
