hey man. im having a problem. when i click the button to go to the maps it goes to the else condition.

i have url_launcher installed and have the code as yours. even converted the strings to doubles for the lat and lng.
it still wont open maps!

- when i got rid of the if else condition, it works! could you please tell me if there is a way to check whether the user has google maps installed or not?

Is it possible to open google maps app but in the way that it does not take a full screen of the flutter application. So, for example I want to have app bar still visible and maybe some text widgets around it so that google map is actually embedded in the center of the screen ? Maybe I can create two Materialapps inside my flutter application, the first one which is responsible for the whole app, and the second one which will hold google maps and where I can define width and height of the box which I want maps to appear ? Can you please help me with this ?

Hi Snippet Coder, Actually, I am launching Google Map from my Flutter App. I have also Installed Uber app in my device. When I launched Google map first time, my device asked me to select Uber or Google map. By mistake, I selected Uber as a Default app. Now every time, my app launch Uber but I need Google map. So is there any way to launch Google Map without asking any choice. Also let me know if there is any way to change default apps preferences from flutter app.
