Hey man great cover and huge tone you got there! I have a Pod HD as well and I am trying to get a decent tone but it is so hard that it get's frustrating. I would be glad if you could tell me a tip about how to achieve this tone, in case you don't want to share your patch.

Thinking about buying a PRS SE Custom 7 string [Not a lot of varieties in India, just laid my hands on a few]. Any verdict?

Great!  What string gauges did you use for this?  I'm just getting a 7 string but it's set up in standard B with 62 gauge 7 which I doubt will go down to F#
