My new little fern took a dive before it decided to recover, but now sits pretty with lovely new leaves. The Asplenium dimorphum can only be found on Norfolk Island, which is an island territory of Australia.

The leaves sprout up in a coil like a typical fern, but unfurl with little hand like tendrils. If you are interested in ferns, check out these videos featuring different fern species:

This video is really helpful! I accidentally burned my new baby fern and now I'm trying to rescue it, so seeing one in a similar state is giving me hope it will survive. Thank you!

I just got one of these today. I tried ferns a few years ago but they slowly died off. I’ve been learning more and I’m ready to try again. Fingers crossed!
