As a Malian I can tell you the biggest issue Sekou will face is adapting to life in Manchester. Leaving Bamako where it’s almost 40 degrees year round, not speaking the language, also United has very few French speaking players i think someone like Amad will be key in helping him settle. It’s a good sign that he actually chose to come to United though because most of our guys always go to Salzburg or Ligue 1, so he clearly likes a challenge. Hopefully he does well I can’t wait to get Kone on the back of my kit!🇲🇱

Hannibal rejected Rangers because he knew he wouldn't be a starter there..
He didnt want to repeat the same Sevilla mistake and thus joined Burnley in the championship.

another good example for Amad where he shined in Sunderland and not Rangers.
So i think United should focus on 2 championship sides to build their MultiClub model. Along with Nice which is a french club owned by Ineos

I can see him and obi Martin getting game time in the carabao Cup or next year during the second half of the season. Definitely a future cdm star.
He'll be 3rd cdm behind collyer and ugarte for now.

Although going to Celtic is a good idea, Kone and Obi Martin in my opinion would be better being given time in the first team.
Being part of everything happening at United would make them settled and advance naturally.

I'm sad seeing A.Fernandez leave without playing senior football at United...
He was a gem in the academy and we still have LB problems this season,
So keeping him would've gave him some minutes in cup games and league games to rest Dalot.

Selling him for 5M was a bad business imo,
he's now starting at Benfica, who will be playing at ChampionsLeague. And has a release clause of 40M in his new contract.

His buy option contract was done before Ineos came in. So I hope this changes with Vivek&Ineos in charge

Feels like United have no choice but to promote Kone to the 1st team as soon as possible. Casemiro can't be trusted at all, Ugarte can't play all the time and potentially risk injury. Licha could play at DM but we don't even have a LCB backup, that's why I wanted United to sign Hermoso for free. But knowing Ten Hag, he is going to play Casemiro a lot this season and he will eventually lose his job.

United have gem in this young lad.
I think between Ugarte, Collyer and Kone, in the long term, United are set at the number 6 position.
Casemiro for the rest of the season will come off the bench and allow Collyer and Kone to develop slowly which is what is needed.

Play them in the early rounds of the FA and Carabao cups off the bench

I'm still confused about Fernandes, especially with the uncertainty at left back

It's Collyer that needs a loan move, not Sekou Kone

How can you say Celtic?
Celtic have a close relationship with Liverpool, while we been building ours with Rangers

In all honestly - I don't see them beating out what United already have, they will be business purchases - for future sales at a major profit
this is the same model Ashworth did at Brighton for their rise

Great Analysis as always, Toby Collyer needs a loan move too to develop further and since you don't see him being more than a squad player, I think we need a profile like Wharton in our midfield next summer. I would also like some analysis on Sverre Nypan, seems like a top talent.

This team will never be ready in my life time. 0-O against pisspoor Palace. We're still shite!

If he ever does it won't be for another 3-4 years. Garnacho is the only one out of the last 30 youth players we've signed that ever really broke into the team. Mainoo doesn't count because he's an academy player.

Can United and Nice even do loan deals if the Todibo deal was rejected?
