If my math is right and you don't lead any expeditions on your own. It would take 100 missions to get each piece of power armor that cost 800 stamps. Come one Bethesda, that's around 500 missions to get the full set when I got it for just playing the scoreboard.

Same when the T-65 and Secret Service items dropped. To get everything would take a year. Stuff like this turns people off from wanting to play the game.

Which is why it is best to do weekly expedition for a chance to get these rewards. Way easier and less stressful then getting the mods with stamps

I got the PA and auto axe in the event, but I used the strategy of clearing out all the 85 stamp items so I would get the more expensive rewards as a weekly reward.

the only line of hope for people is the weekly reward of a random stamp plan, clearing out cheaper plans (which are still expensive) gives you a higher chance of rolling a PA piece

Don't forget you get one free, previously unopened plan, per week, as long as you finish at least one expedition. So, if you want the union PA & auto axe for free, buy the cheaper plans with your stamps. It'll still take you a while, but it shouldn't take too long.

So I did a bit of math, from what I counted there are 47 items in the stamp shop. Every week you can get a free random stamp plan just for doing an expedition, every individual plan has a 2.12% chance of being obtained, if your going for the power armor that's a 12.76% chance of getting any power armor piece. 17% if your also going for the auto axe and union jetpack. That's still pretty rare considering its once a week.

There are 52 weeks in a year. Its still a lot of grind for a simple item but you will have everything in the stamp shop in under a year if you do a single expedition every week, which should only take around 30 minutes for an experienced player. That is still extremely absurd but not as bad as I originally thought. The odds only get better the more plans you have, so you should focus on getting the mods you want, so when you eventually get the PA and auto axe your ready to mod them.

There's still hope guys, even if it is very fragile.

Not surprised at the madness. The drop rate for explosive pepper shaker is once every 3 years if you do your ally quest daily (without glitching).

The prices are crazy. It would take thousands of hours to get enough stamps from expedidtins, which can sometimes take a while, especially if your teammates aren't playing the objectives. But at the same time, it would be unfair to just give away the union PA if so many people had to grind the scoreboard for it. I think they could half the price and even that would be a serious grind, but I don't think they should just give it away for free or at a super low price since that would make the people who grinded the scoreboard sour.

I've done maybe a few Pitt expeditions. Between the tedious, though simple, tasks for recharging the battery and the outrageous amount of stamps you need for anything, I just said screw it. In honesty though, I'm not much of a "grinder". I enjoy the simplicity of just wandering around and doing whatever I want at the moment.

This game is all about the grind. Got to play for it or pay for it. I bet soon enough they will make a change and sell it in the atom shop.

The only thing that could save us from that much grinding, is once a week you get a plan for free that you don't know. BUT. You need to get all of the objectives checked for the expedition.

Glad I did season ten because otherwise I wouldn't even attempt to get the union PA via expeditions.

If you do the Pitt, you get dropped a plan once a week. I got dropped all my union power armor plans from doing the Pitt. I do the Pitt daily. When the Pitt came out, I did the Pitt 6-10 a day. Just do the Pitt and get your stamps.

I feel sorry for new players wanting the union power armour. I have a few friends I do Pitt runs with back to back if anyone wants to join.

800 times 5 is 4000stamps. You get 8 stamps for joining an expedition 10 for hosting what you can do 1 times a day (or 2 with a trick)
So you need to do only 500 expeditions- if doing the 'quick" one you need ~10minutes.
500 times 10 is 5000minutes and hrough 60 is 83 hours (without loading time what is 2 times 1min and other stuff like selling equipment after expeditions or putting in your chest)
Lets say at least 100 hours i would say, actually not too bad for me but for peoples who dont have lots of time... yea good stuff.
I think they will change that
