Kevin is MORE RELAXED THAN I'VE EVER SEEN HIM!! Great to see. He is the best player in the game right now!!

You don't have to agree with Chuck, but you have to respect his authenticity.

Chuck “When you are a celebrity people can say what they want to you…but what you say back to them can get you in trouble”

KD “Say less OG…” gives him one of his burner accounts.

What Chuck said in the end is so true and that's as real as it gets. You read comments like "Wilt played with plumbers" or "it was more physical back in the day so these soft babies wouldn't survive." But the reality is, you thrive in the era you're playing, and your greatness should be measured against your contemporaries. That's just how it is. We always hear that 6 rings is better than 4 or 5. But then 11 rings is better than 6 right? That's not how you measure it. You look at Russell, and you compare him to guys like Wilt. You look at MJ and it's Hakeem or Karl Malone. You look at Kobe and it's Duncan. You can't say definitively that a certain guy is the greatest because of accomplished in his time. The important thing is great players leave legacies for the next generations to build upon. It's a continuous cycle.

I love the 'one word answer' issue. The whole media made a huge issue about it... but then you see the reality between them - no problem at all.

That was so heartfelt at the end. So good.

"It's not better, it's just different."

YES!! These are my exact thoughts on the game today vs. the game 20-30 years ago.
There's less defense now, but athletes can last longer in the league without a Bad Boy Pistons-style beating. Both are fun to watch in different ways.

IDK why ppl so surprised KD was relaxed in the interview, he is being interviewed by one of the realest to ever do it, of course he’s going to be relaxed.

Love that Chuck doesn’t take things personal. I read his biography in middle school and have been a fan ever since.

I like this version of KD, been a fan since OKC and he seemed to go pretty dark after that MVP season. Then at GSW he seemed angry all the time. He really seems comfortable and confident in himself since the end of last season. Forget top 75, KD is top 20 all time ( along with Steph).

He called his coach when he was around 8 years old? Mad respect for that.
