The Chiefs absolutely know these new rules! Before the change Mahomes lost in the playoffs to Brady on a coin toss and then sudden death. Mahomes didn’t get the ball back in OT. Nothing changed Mahomes and the Chiefs lost. Fast for to Chief vs Bills and the tables turned. Chief won in overtime and Bills never got to touch the ball. People were upset and then the change in playoff OT rules happened…..Chiefs are very well aware and educated on strategy and situational football around the new play off OT rules.
