I used to rave back in the late 90s... Wish we had youtube tutorials back then haha.. I had to watch other people and then practice at home in front of a mirror and then wait all the way until the next party to learn more moves.

I thought it was pretty good. I know some people have their own different interpretations of the dance, but you pull it off well. I notice a lot of people talk about dancing to it with ska, so I need to watch others. I’ve only seen people dance to Rockerfella Skank.

The movements you're making when you're doing it slow are different than the actual ones. You're not using your other foot when you should actually jump and place that other foot more in the back

It looks easy at first, but when you try to do it its far from perfect. coordinating the feet with the beat. Timing is everything. Otherwise it looks sloppy, weak and random leg throwing. I started doing it, hope i can learn and improve with practice.

Not sure if you'll see this, but I just had a few questions about stretches and technique.

Ive been getting better at stepping, but I find that after a day or so at a festival I start to get shin splints. What are some exercises that you do to prepare your legs for the pressure of stepping?
