Two years ago I built my dream chicken coop. Now it's been sitting empty, unused, and neglected by the old tenants on the property. The time has come to bring it back to life and fill it with new life.

Love watching your homesteading journey & your lovely family! Just a note, I've read that pine shaving is not safe for chickens and can cause a lot of health issues in the long run, maybe you can switch to other options.

I just spent the morning changing out the wood shavings in my coop. The birds seem to like to watch and then mess it have 25 American Bresse meat are fun except for the roosters, lol.
