Would it not be more likely Celtic and rangers go into a European super league.

Keep the individual leagues as they are.

Drop the league cups and form a British Super Cup in their place.

I don't think they should join the Premier League, but it would be good to see more competition between scottish and English clubs. To me there should be a cup competition for the whole of Britain. Whether that means the Scottish league teams joins the FA cup, or the cup is renamed I don't know.

This would also bring more TV money to Scottish teams...

Always wanted to see league 2 dissolve and expand the premiership, championship and have 1 league below that.

Speaking from a rangers fan point of view i would love it if we joined the English Premier league, more money and would also attract better players. Rangers and celtic dominate scottish football no doubt financially. Who knows it could be a win-win situation coz if rangers and celtic left then the Scottish premiership title is up for grabs

The ideal scenario would be to find a way for other Scottish teams in the league to make enough money in order to compete with Celtic and Rangers. How this is done I don't know, but they should be able to splash a few million on players and pay decent wages that will attract players to our league.

If the old firm had to give a seasonal parachute type payment it could overall benefit the Scottish league, 20M each season for 5 years back to the SPL teams and the league would soon attract players then TV companies to show the games its like taking the monopoly away and letting others grow, 10M from each club a season seems alot but in context to the new revenue they will achieve its a small % its reasonable

Never, we are Scottish teams. The answer is for smaller Scottish teams to merge in order to have the resources to compete against Celtic and Rangers.

yes, it would be better for both, would make the prem even better, but I think ALL scottish teams should be allowed to join a british football league, I see no reason why not. would also make the championship better. would actually help the smaller scottish clubs too since they would be able to compete with similar sized clubs. stop being miserable, this is not a super league, we are apart of the same sovereign state, lets have a BRITISH PREMIER LEAGUE.

It would make the Prem even better and would also make the Championship better IF ALL Scottish teams would merge to create a British football league, I see no reason why not, welsh teams are already, end of the day we are the same sovereign state. Scottish teams joining a British league isn't the same as the Super League concept. It would actually help the smaller Scottish clubs too since they would be able to compete with similar sized clubs. Lets have a BRITISH PREMIER LEAGUE.

I do not want the old firm joining the epl as people would think Scotland is part of England.
And I do not support a league merger as that would be a logistical nightmare for any small side in a UK 4th or 5th uk tier. A club like aberdeen could be travelling hundreds of miles a week for no increase in football standard.
A preferable idea is to have extra pan great britain cups on top of domestic and european football.
The Scots have been allowed welsh and northern irish sides in the scottish challenge cup.
Let's bring back the anglo scottish cup. Or merge the english league cup, welsh league cup and scottish league cup.
Or have a British premier cup.
Or invite all scottish premiership sides who have not qualified for europe plus all welsh premier sides Into the efl trophy or fa trophy.
Also have pan great britain cups in women's football.

There should be a British Cup. All the clubs in British leagues competing for what is bow the league cup. Make it happen!

It will never happen we have been thru this numerous of times as for teams leaving the English prem then we wldnt b playing the best, So what’s the point

Rangers have won 1 major trophy in their entire existence. How on earth can they be considered a “ big “ club deserving of any admittance to any other league ?? And this concrete head Ferguson thinks RFC reserves should be allowed to climb through the leagues ?? Why only Celtic & Rangers reserves ? Utter tunnel vision from the football authorities and that’s why the game is dying in Scotland .

I think it could go quite bad for Scottish prem if they left and would drop in it's quality but could become a better more exciting anyone can win style tournament. Imagine rangers and Celtic would only benefit from joining England
