Mike just letting Hank and Gomez talk. Never talk when you can listen.

Kalie was pulling the strings all along and let her innocent grandfather take the fall. That's cold.

Hank was a great investigator and interrogator. He always saved his most damning evidence for the very end as the person was ready to leave.

1:35 Amateur hour for Gomey here. Pulling the "easy or hard" play on a suspect who isn't under arrest is not only a toothless threat, but it reveals they have zero evidence to charge him with a crime. And they JUST established Mike is a former cop, so he would know that.
Read the room, Gomey. Know who you're playing against.

Mike wasn't interested in talking about his son, and Hank didn't want to either

Ever notice how anyone who asked Hank if they were under arrest/for a warrent for their arrest he never actually did; Jesse, Mike, Skyler?

This scene almost seems to suggest that Hank and Mike could be seen as foils to each other even though they don't interact very much. Throughout the series, Hank often comes off as dimwitted with a serious side while Mike comes off as tough-minded with a gentler side. They both has a strong sense of right versus wrong, but Hank is agent of the law while Mike is the murderous henchman for a drug lord; by extension, they're both supporting characters, but Hank supports good while Mike supports evil. Finally, they both die accepting their fates, but Hank goes down defiantly while Mike asks to die in peace. Regardless, they're both very interesting characters that are often overshadowed by Walt and Gus.

I love rewatching this series over and over . Every single character was top tier quality . Every last one of em… the acting in this show is second to none and I’m having a hard time even getting into other shows

The whole scene is very dramatic and serious, but Hank's cheeky "Maybe." when Gomez mentions Kaylee keeping some of the money always makes me laugh

Dean Norris is simply outstanding here

The possibility of her maybe keeping some of the money was an empty promise, wasn't it? The money was a product of illegal activities, it would get confiscated, cooperation or not.

One thing that always baffled me in this dialogue is that it is literally IMPOSSIBLE for Mike to not hear about the news of Gus being a drug kingpin, since this information has been in the headlines literally from the day he died.
