Acura MDX Design – Then and Now

Utilizing a clean sheet design and clear focus on delivering Precision Crafted Performance, the fourth-generation MDX reimagines the three-row SUV’s proven formula with a more emotional, exciting and premium design. The clean sheet approach harkens back to the pioneering 2001 MDX, the first SUV designed by Acura in California, and the industry’s first three-row SUV to be based on a unibody platform. Both challenging designs were undertaken by the same person – lead designer Catalin Matei.

Had a 2000, then traded it in for an 08 tech, which is still going strong with over 225k miles, and a leased 20 tech, looking forward to leasing the new MDX once the 2020 lease is up

My mom had a 2006 MDX for years. Got it used in 2009 and it served us until we traded it in at 150, 000 miles for a 2015 Lexus RX350. While I love the RX we got her, the MDX will always be special.

What a tease on the interior... as an owner of a 2014 MDX I personally do see a lot of that still in the new design. I'm still torn if its worth upgrading too.
