Sorry I missed this on the day in question.

Haunted is a great word for it. I feel somewhat traumatized by that day and was nowhere near it. I can't even imagine how affected those that were closer to the events emotionally or physically might be.

The song Saturn by Sleeping at Last has become my defacto 9/11 song. It is from an individual's perspective but it reminds me that everyone involved had their own stories that were as intimate as this.
