Hi Matt, from what I've heard, the best way to remove the skins when you get a bunch of them roasted and delivered in a ziplock is to freeze them. Then when you thaw the chiles you want to use, the charred skin will easily come off. When I make them at home I just let them steam for about 5 minutes before wiping off the char.

Terrific! Great feel, lovely energy. Love that you used bowl and plate to "steam" the chiles skins off vs. steaming in plastic. For flavor preservation, would recommend not removing the chile skin with paper towel.
In great admiration of you, for a very long time...

I shot some of the scenes (like the opening hello) with a camera on a try-pod. Jesse shot many of the scenes as well. He did the opening graphic sequence and the intro guitar strumming. (The rest of the music was licensed.)

Looks great, welcome to the party! Maybe use a handheld camera rather than tripods as the slight change in perspectives is more interesting to the eye. But still wonderful.

I had no idea you had a YouTube channel. Great job. Who shot the video and did the cute little intro?

Hi Elise, is it easier to remove the skin right after you steam them? Central Market and Whole Foods offer to roast your chilli's here, then you check out with them in a ziplock bag. By the time I get home and try removing the skins they're just a soggy mess and a nightmare to remove compared to what you just did. First time I saw a video of the process...now I'm thinking I'm doing it wrong :)
