In today's video tutorial I go over some of the techniques that I use to Render Comic Art. I cover why I experiment with different types of lines to create style and variety within my artwork.

It is important to be inventive and try new things while you create. Try variations of thick to thin, different types of cross hatching, shapes of shadows, broken up lines, and whatever else you can think of along the way!

I hope you find this video to be informative and fun to watch. Please LIKE - SHARE - SUBSCRIBE for new content each week on drawing comics and creating art.

Thank you for your continued support and good luck with your art!

My art progress took a massive hit when I lost my old job and had to take a job working to midnight to make ends meet for nearly a year, back in a 9-5 job now and couldn't be happier settling back into my old drawing routine, watching your videos and drawing along.

São muitos anos de exercícios para chegar a este estágio. Acompanhar um trabalho deste é muito gratificante!

Hi Rob! Recently I haven’t been so motivated to draw and I decided to quit, now I want to get back to drawing but I can’t get motivated enough. I would love to hear some tips. Thanks!

I couldn't really tell what face you were drawing, tbh. Did it have fabric over the face? I'm not sure what you were aiming at.

Thanks for the tutorial Rob, anyone else think Rob sounds a bit like Todd McFarlane??

When ever I attempt to do rendering like this it never turns out. I have tried many times and it always looks bad to me.

Ill have zero progress with hours and hours of practice, then watch a video about rendering, shadowing, or anatomy and get significantly better at drawing in a few minutes. I cant tell if that makes me a genius or an idiot
