Affinity Designer Tutorial for Beginners on iPad

This video should help you get started using Affinity Designer. The main focus of this video is to cover as much as possible in as little time as possible. I had originally aimed at doing a 10 minute video, but I felt it left out way to much vital information, so 28 minutes it ended up being.

I purchased affinity last night without a clue as to how this all works. I have been watching their videos the entire day but haven’t learned what I needed to in order to get started or even know how to start. I would use pages before and cut and paste and got pretty good at it but since loosing the firm we hired due to their inability to be creative on an essence level beyond coding.I have set out to learn enough myself to save money. So much easier said than done. I’m only a few minutes in and your voice is soothing and finally after an entire day Of trying to find a video with basics and beyond I feel I am going to learn how to be someone who can not draw but is a designer be able to figure out a middle ground and hopefully save thousands of dollars.

This was an. Extremely useful overview of the app. As a complete beginner in Vector drawing/designing I would really like to see a simple tutorial as to how you actual guide your pen/pencil using anchor points to create the lines and curves you want. It feels totally alien from drawing freehand and I find the drawing tool has a life of its own and doesn’t do what I want.i would be grateful for an explanation of how to do this. Many thanks for all the tutorials.
