This song is just beautiful! It has “Standard” written all over it! It will have such longevity! You must of taken a ride in a time machine way back, way down to the Delta with a stopover in Chicago on your return back here. Because it contains all the blues and jazz elements coupled with a contemporary conscious appraisal! I love it and will be listening to it many times over. It’s the kind of song that soaks right down in your shoes.
