Yes 2x10s! This massive pedestal base has huge profit potential and can be made using 3 standard 2 x 10 x 10'! I actually misspoke in the video and said it would take 7. But that would be at 8' and you would have around 6' of waste. With 3 - 10' boards, it would come out about perfect with no little waste! Man, I really need to get a band saw. Of course when I get one I doubt very seriously that it will be as big or as nice as that Harvey, but the same technique could be applied to 6X lumber, it would just take two legs on each end instead of a single pedestal. I just started making payments on a 30X40 metal building close to my house, .. so now I have room for all the tools I could ever want, but now my tool budget is also shot to hell. Hahaha!

I wish I had been born with the patience to make something like this. The planters were one thing, but I can easily see myself getting aggravated with the cutting on this one.
