Patrice Evra says social media companies allow people to "spread racism" after England trio Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka were abused online.

This comes after a YouGov survey shared with Sky Sports News has revealed one in three people who previously did not think racism was a serious problem now do so following the final of Euro 2020.

Over 70 per cent of fans across England think professional football in the country has a serious problem with racism - an increase of 17 per cent since the opening stages of the tournament in June.

Former Manchester United and France defender Evra, who enjoyed a successful club and international career, says his toughest competition has been racism in the game he loves.

Am black and hate racism. But this thing will be with us forever. My solution is when someone discriminate you by your race if you can beat him or her do so and be satisfied that is my plan

The social media companies must deactivate the bogus accounts. One should use his or he identity number to open a social media account so that there is accountability.

It's true and they do nothing to stop it! Literally nothing! Until it escalates and causes them bad press! Otherwise they probably wouldn't do anything at all

The majority of the English white race they do support racism and they don't care even if some people abuse others on social media, the fact that they are the leaders on most footballing bodies in England that's why they are less concerned about the racism Sorry whoever feels don't care who you're 😳
