Born and raised here as well. I wanted to add to the video and say that Springtree is a nice neighborhood. Quite, pretty, and the best part is the underground powerlines. I do not know too many places around here that have that. If the power grid goes down in certain spots the neighborhood can lose power, it certainly isn't impervious to this, but I've seen it have power when so many others do not.

I’ve lived in G, ville for 28 years. Owned one of those townhomes in the Seranola SW area near what we now call little Phoenix. It’s still a quiet area. But there is crime. And a couple of shootings at the apartments that boarder those townhomes. One thing that’s increasing as fast as the property prices is crime. Then there are the motorcycles. Seems around 9 pm every night someone or a few people jump on their bikes and run wide open up and down the side streets near 30th Terrace. That seems to have subsided. I have lived in this area of G, ville since 96. It’s also become way more congested. But still relatively quiet and safe compared to other areas of town. But keep your cars and homes locked.

I lived around the SW quadrant in what could be called "student" housing. Your clients are probably looking for family homes, so your hoods are a bit more exclusive than the student housing, but I can attest that I lived at Bridgelight Apartments and it was as beautiful as you can get for student housing. Loft, 2-storey style bedrooms with tiny private little personal grassy backyards--although of course you can hear through the walls sometimes in the upper loft areas. Beautiful trees canopy the entire enclosed area. It's close to the SW Archer Road area--near the huge Publix shopping area, with natural areas. It was probably the best apartment rental I have ever experienced. It has a beautiful swimming pool too, a bit small but it's near the tree and duck pond (oh yes, if you are lucky enough to live aroud the little duck pond that is a bonus. There are some more awful huge block apartment buildings with a huge communal area so you have to see all the other buildings, but there are other unique spaces. I lived in a most private area and I loved it completely. At the time (early 2000's, I paid only $500 per month. Now the cost is at least double for the exact same space/appliances. Unfortunatel.

Hello! Could you recommend your top neighborhood for someone working at UF health Shands? One that offers a short commute and excellent schools/amenities?
