Honestly there's something about abandoned theme parks that are so fascinating to me, a place meant to be so joyful turned so sinister. I would love to visit at least one in my lifetime. Also I knew about the Gullivers theme park for years but never did it actually register with me that holy shit, it being where Mt.Fuji OF COURSE means its right next door to Aokigahara.. that's so freaky and why would you think it's a good place to have a theme park 😅

I used to go to Rocky Point all the time. Being the fact that I lived under an hour away, that helped, too. I didn't know about the dark past. The only thing bad that happened to me was that I got food poisoning in there clam shack.

I had to patrol Six Flags New Orleans during and after Hurricane Katrina and imagine being in a flooded amusement park with snakes and alligators and ghosts and other supernatural entities. I was a Louisiana State Special Officer and I was with a National Guard squad and even though we were heavily armed we were scared to death and honestly didn't know if our weapons would work on some things. Even worse were the humans who acted like monsters and lost their own humanity.
