Remember the ZZZ devs letter to us in the 1.1 livestream? ZZZ is their baby, their very first game. They have worked on it independently from the other teams at Mihoyo as one of the youngest dev teams in the industry. They clearly care a lot about their game and it shows

I've been super impressed by the ZZZ development team.
They've been incredibly responsive to player feedback, and made major updates to improve the game.
All the upcoming changes they've discussed sound great as well, and address all my main irritations with ZZZ.

They also create the best characters, making them unique and interesting. The darker tones of their individual stories have been some of the most compelling content I've seen out of Hoyoverse so far, and I'm a veteran of HI3rd, Genshin, and HSR.

I went from being highly sceptical about ZZZ, to it becoming my favourite game in a year.
That's some impressive work. Bravo.

Haven't finished watching the video but thank you so much for this upload! Your videos / commentary always help me understand things better. You turn complicated kits and info, then turn them into small easy to understand summaries.

Still on the fence about HDD removal and the absence so far of Fairy and now Eous. I loved the banter and the slice of life aspect in form of TV Mode between the relationship of our proxies and the HDD. I think it is also good to have some kind of detach from the agents as well when we are not acting as "Phaethon".

The advice i would give to keep the fun and their use is to have Fairy become PORTABLE. The proxies are carry devices on them (Belle; Walkman, Wise: Recorder) so why not take Fairy on the road. Either in a device such as a wristwatch or uploaded to an EOUS VER 2.0. Kind of like Claptrap at times for Borderlands or Kenny from High on Life. Just at pivotal times or hacking bangboo stations and so forth.

Fairy is too much of a superpower and tool to just get rid of.

PS: the lack of HDD interactions (besides mere cutscenes) is concerning. Fairy "connected" to the selected Proxy, but they are dropping that like its nothing?

3:05 they specifically mention special chapters, not agent stories ( so the chapters like Jane's or the section 6 chapter) agent stories make sense to be a little more disconnected from main

with proxy or eious going hollow, i hope zzz dev keep them balance like proxy going in hollow only for main quest but for side quest we can used eoius or used eous when we go inside hollow with stranger, eios is basically icon for paethon identity

You can really feel the love the devs have for the game. I really hope 2.0 is our golden age and they can keep the momentum going. The focus on balance already has me more optimistic than HSR by a mile
