Whitney gave out the love to the generation after her that she wanted but did not receive from the generation before her. With the exception of Chaka and Luther.

Christina...bae, you have a lovely voice, but all that screaming, straining and grunting that you do ruins it for me. Whenever you stay within yo' range, you're smooth sailing. The more recent Whitney Houston tributes that you've done are pretty bad. I think _Queen of the Night_ would've been the perfect choice. It suit yo' range and onstage persona. And, you're right. Whitney was confident and she knew she was the best. Her voice's spirit had so much character. I watch her old performances all the time and sometimes she'd soar up to the top end of her soprano w/ a smile on her face. She had a rare gift.
